Fuzion Series Meet 2011 Results
Minnesota Pole Vault Showcase with ELITE SHOW
When: Saturday March 12, 2010 The MEET Friday March 11th (Dinner with the Stars)
Location: Fuzion Athletics Track and Field Training Center 14350 Rosemount Dr, Burnsville MN 55306
Who: High School, College, and Open Pole Vaulters as well as an Elite Pole Vault Showcase (Bars for Cash)
Level: EVERYONE is welcome --Bring your whole H.S. pole vault team
Cost: Spectators: $5 at the door. Parents, family, Coaches and friends - We will have some chairs but please feel free to bring your own folding chair.
Athletes: pre-registered--$35 ---before March 7th, $50 if you register on the day of competition (please pay all fees on the day of)
Meet and Greet with dinner with the Elite Athletes (Dinner with the Stars): March 11th - $20 each person at Buca di Beppo in Burnsville. Restaurant Website
Meet us at 6:30 pm to socialize for a bit, and then the event will kick off at 7pm with about 30-45 min of question and answer followed by dinner. This is going to be a fun, rare opportunity to talk with elite athletes. Dont miss out on a great event!

Poles: We have every size, and you can use our poles...
Showcase: This will be our largest show ever! We will host the some of the best vaulters in the country, and they will be jumping for prize money! This how it will work: Its just like a pole vault meet, the highest jumper wins, but every time they make a bar they will make money. Elite Men and Women will compete against each other with a 39 bar differential to level the playing field. This will be a great battle for over $3000 in prize money

We will be having a raffle: (5 tickets for $20.00) with a chance to win a NEW POLE VAULTING POLE, a rental pole for your season, NEW TRACK SPIKES, A HELMET, and MANY OTHER GREAT PRIZES.
GET A JUMP ON THE COMPETITION - There will also be a table with spikes provided by Run N Fun. This is a great opportunity to get spikes before the season rush at a discounted 20% off! We have one to two sizes of each shoe, but if your size is out you can still order them at the discounted price and pick them up the next day at camp.
Fuzion Shop: Check out our FUZION SHOP to find some great essentials to start your season off right! The Fuzion Shop will include helmets, pole rentals, bungees, shirts, and team backpacks.
Food: We will provide a concession stand with water, Gatorade, snacks, and pizza during the dinner hours.
Heat Sheets and start time will be published Thursday March 10th

Meet Format: warm-ups start 1 hour before, we will put teams together based on ability and we will provide team coaches
This is an IDEA of what it will look like based on number of athletes we have jumping.
We will have 2 pits:
- 2:00 pm -
- Check in for girls, guys check in will be throughout the event (pay fees at time of check-in)
- 2:30 pm -
- High School Girls Warm Ups Start time is 2:30 pm (stay for the showcase) X 2 pits
- 5:30 pm -
- Showcase Clinic (after h.s. girls), 14 + girls and 19 + guys will be jumping (Team Fuzion and friends) main pit
- 7:00 pm -
- High School Boys (after elite) 4pm (come early to watch the showcase) pit 1
- 7:00 pm -
- College and Open (after elite) 4pm (come early to watch the showcase) pit 2
These start times can change based on the number of vaulters, but the High School Girls Warm Ups will not start before 2:30pm
Come ready to buy everything you will need this season
Pole vault spikes, helmets, poles, PV backpacks, bags, shirts, and everything else you need for your season will be on hand for sale.
*After the meet you can rent and take home the poles for your high school season*
Please bring your teammates and friends and plan to attend the Showcase Clinic
You must be registered before March 9th in order to qualify for the $35 reduced entry price
First day of Track is Monday March 15th
Friendly house keeping reminders!!
- There will be a designated food and drink area that is still in a visible area to the event.
- REMINDER: NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO USE THE EQUIPMENT UNLESS SUPERVISED BY AN EMPLOYEE.
- Fuzion will be providing all of the coaching and instruction to the athletes during this meet. It is against high school league rules for coaches to coach their athletes before March 15. Please follow these rules and enjoy the sport of pole vaulting!
