What are the benefits of jumping on ESSX vaulting poles:
- It is a unique design that is unlike any other vaulting pole on the market today. The secret is a stiffer pole concept, which reduces the low pole actions in the box area and creates an excellent pole rolling over action in the upper area of the pole. Results include a higher hand grip, better form and higher heights!
- Fuzion Athletics is the only company renting ESSX vaulting pole in the world and is largest Dealer in the world.
- We give you the opportunity to rent it before you buy it, if you wish.
- World class athletes jump on ESSX vaulting pole some of the athletes include: Katelin Rains (14+) Kellie Suttle(15+), Jillian Schwarts(15+), Andree' Pinkens(15'+), Tracy Ohara(15'+), Danial Ryland(19’+), Tye Harvey(19'+) and Russ Butler(19+) and all of TEAM FUZION
- ESSX Vaulting Poles are endorsed by Earl Bell- 3x Olympian
- No guess on Flex Number, Essx take that out of the game by marking all pole by true weight rating.
- “Smart labels” are on every pole! No guessing on brand to brand. You just know!
- Every pole comes with a NEW Flame Tip that is EGG shape to create full rotation of the pole in the box. The design in the tip creates a greater angle in the box to allow you to get on stiffer poles. This allows you to have a higher grip.
- Poles are rented out in PVC tube to help protect them during transportation's to meets.
FAQ:
Who is jumping on Essx vaulting poles? Just check out our stats page! Our stats are getting better every year! …
Why don’t you list all the poles you offer?
We have over 200 poles in stock and we are adding poles weekly to the list. Additionally poles are being rented out and returning all the time. It would be an endless task if we tried to keep it up to date. Just call and we’ll let you know what we have at the current moment.
Can I request a flex number to rent?
YES!!! Let us help you get the right pole. Flex number, weights, non-carbon and carbon poles can be request in any size. If you are confused already…JUST CALL.
What if we have another pole brands at our school can we mix and match? (Skypoles, Carbon FX, USC Spirits, Mysticks, Pacer FX)
And
What's up with the funny Essx labels?
Yes you can. The most important part of going from brand “A” to brand “B” back to brand “A” is that you understand flex numbers. It’s a true story, every manufacturer flex their poles differently. That is why Essx poles have a “Smart Label” on them.
Example of how the smart label works:
13’ 7” 165 (17.7) Essx poles will give you exactly the flex of the other manufacturer
Gill Pole would be a (17.4)
USC Pole would be a (20.2)
Alutis Pol wold be a (8.3)
This is why Essx poles are label as a 148.4, 151.8, 154.2, 156.2 so on, because then you know if your getting a stiff 150lbs or a soft 155 lbs pole. Other manufactures just list it as a 150. Essx gives you a true weight label. Make sense?
And that Essx label… well, it’s only funny to the coaches that don’t understand.
Let us help you get the right pole and take the guessing out of out your coaching!
Why don’t essx make a standards pole lenghts like 11’6” 12’0 12’6” so on..?
If you every have used a Essx pole before you will know this answer. Essx has found that there is no need to make so many pole changes down in the lower poles. It is so easy to make the change from an 11’6” to a 12’4”. We at Fuzion have tested this with years of coaching athlete vault campers and testing out whether there is a performance difference. There’s not. Try them and see the better results in your kids. The confidence, consistency, quality with Essx poles will result in a better performance in their jumping. It takes away the mental block of “that’s my big pole” or “that poles to stiff.”
Why do the rental poles have extra tape on them?
We wrap our rental poles with a single extra layer of vinyl tape. This provides protection to the poles from the abuse when the poles are lying on the ground and bag damage, if you hit the pole with your spikes during the jump. (We find in most cases when poles come back) The extra layer of tape has saved the pole once we removed the tape.
Yes there is about .1lbs to .3lbs of extra tape on the poles. However, kids can’t tell the difference in the weight, and we don’t tape our 14’6” to 16’5” because of the size. There is more weight added to those poles when they are taped.
Are the rental poles the same pole you use in the pole vault camp and training?
Yes we do use the poles in our camps; this is even a better reason to rent them. Your kids have been training on them all off-season. We train over 150 kids in the off-season.
Why would I rent if I could buy poles!
- Unless your made of money you cant buy 8 ($3200+) different poles every year as you or your athletes grow in H.S/College
- There are only a couple of H.S programs that have every pole a team needs to be great
- If you buy a pole in March you will out grow it in May
- If it rains or there bad winds you might need a smaller/bigger pole
For the cost of 4 poles you can easily spend over $1500 or you can rent them for around $400 and if you grow out them or need something else just exchange them.
Am I required to have insurance?
No, you can take on the responsibility of renting the pole(s) yourself without “after shipment” insurance. Be aware of the breakage/damage fee on rental poles with no insurance. We do cover shipment insurance.
What happens if a pole breaks during competition? Am I covered?
If you did not buy insurance then you be billed for the cost of the pole. If you bought insurance then we will replace the pole for you. Contact us within 24 hour of break. See Pole Insurance terms.
How long does it take to ship poles to a competition?
Our standard service ships to/from most locations in 2 business days. Overnight service is also available for most areas. For more remote locations, an additional business day can be expected.
If a pole breaks during shipping or practice, do I have to get the exact same replacement pole, or can I get a different size?
Broken poles will be replaced with the exact pole that was damaged.
Once I process a claim, how long will it take for me to get a replacement pole?
It varies since the time it takes is completely dependant upon the manufacturer. If the replacement pole is in stock, it can be replaced in a few days. However if the pole(s) needs to be made, it can take up to a couple of weeks. We will do our best to get you a replacement pole in a timely matter.
